We’ve had another successful week at TSES. Our year to date attendance rate is 95.8% Let’s keep up the great work!

TSES PTA Sponsored Trunk or Treat - Join us on October 30 from 6:00 - 7:00 pm for the Trunk or Treat. This is a free event, but students must be chaperoned. Don’t forget to wear your costume! A sensory friendly Trunk or Treat will start at 5:45 end at 6:00. for children who need a calmer and less stimulating event and for their families.
Pajama Day at TSES - Reminder Friday, 10/31 is an optional Staff and Student Pajama Day. Please remember to wear sneakers if you have PE on that day.
Veteran's Day at TSES - At Talbott Springs Elementary, we would like to thank family members of our students who have previously served or are currently serving in any branch of the United States Military. Please use the form below to share your information so that we can give special recognition to the children and their family members, on Tuesday, November 11th. Please submit your information by Monday, 11/10, to allow time for sharing information with classroom teachers to highlight during Social Emotional Learning time on 11/11. Thank you!

NEWS FROM THE YEARBOOK COMMITTEE - It may be October, but the yearbook committee is already hard at work on the 2025-2026 yearbook. We would love your help with filling our pages with photos of your child(ren) at TSES events. Please share photos from (1) field trips; and (2) school events with Mrs. Humphrey at <michelle_humphrey@hcpss.org>. Please include your students name(s) and grade(s). Thank you in advance for your support.
4th Grade Math Fact Fluency Family Night! Hosted by Title I, the event will take place on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 6:00–8:00 PM in the TSES Cafeteria. Families will enjoy dinner, math games, multiplication and division flash cards, and engaging activities that make learning math facts fun. Childcare for ages 2 and up, transportation, and interpreters are available if needed, ensuring all families can join. Everyone is encouraged to RSVP by Monday, November 3, 202,5 to attend and take part in this interactive learning night.

The OMHS Food Pantry will be open Wednesday, October 29 from 3:30 - 5:30pm at 9410 Kilimanjaro Road, Columbia. Come to the front of the school building for our low-contact pickup.
