National Take Your Child to Work Day
The fourth Thursday in April of each year has been designated as National Take Your Child to Work Day. This year, the date is Thursday, April 23. The program was created as an educational experience for children. It provides an opportunity for children to become more aware of their parents’/guardians’ workday and encourages them to think about their own futures. A student in our school system who is participating in this program will be considered to be on a field trip and will not be marked absent for the day.
If your child will be attending work with you on Thursday, April 23, please complete this form so that their absence will be considered excused. Thank you for your help!

Spring into healthy habits! It is that time of year when the weather is becoming nicer, and we are spending more time outside.
What do Seasonal Allergies look like?

· Itchy, bumpy skin, hives, redness
What can parents do to help their child with seasonal allergies?

· Have your child splash/rinse eyes and apply a cool, wet cloth
· Talk to your child’s pediatrician about oral allergy medications, as well as eye drops or topical allergy medications for symptoms
