Newsletter - 10/18/26
Greetings TSES Families,
Unity Day is this Wednesday, 10/21. Staff and students are invited to wear orange as a sign of unity.
Every year on the third or fourth Wednesday in October, a very special event comes around — the Day of Unity, or Unity Day, as it is commonly called. This year Unity Day will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 21. This is the signature event of National Bullying Prevention Month, also in October. The key message of this month, and this day, is to unite for kindness, courage, and inclusion, to prevent students from being bullied. Get ready to help us celebrate next week!
Here are the ways our school is going to celebrate Unity Day on Wednesday!
- Wear orange to show your active support for anti-bullying.
- Spend the day taking part in random acts of kindness. This could be smiling at a stranger or spending quality time with an old friend. The possibilities are endless!

Hi TSES Families!

Flu season is quickly approaching! Has your child gotten their flu shot yet?
If not, be sure to sign up for our SBWC Flu Clinic on Tuesday, October 20th! This is a super easy and convenient way for your child to get their flu shot right here at school. You won’t have to take them anywhere, and they won’t have to miss school!
Sign up today to help keep your child healthy and protected this flu season!
PTA Trunk or Treat
We hope you can join us on October 27 @ 6pm for the Trunk or Treat . Please consider volunteering for the event. The PTA supports TSES in many ways: special events throughout the year, popsicles on field day, lowering the cost of certain field trips, special luncheons and snacks for staff, and several other ways!
